Manly Sea Eagles Fly High

On Sunday 3rd of October, the Manly Warrington Sea Eagles took on the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL GRAND FINAL!! This game was going to be great, but at the same time they were both fighting to try and win the Telstra Premiership.

The CROWD WENT WILD, when both teams came out. As the teams were in the locker room, Maori people came out to lead the Ka Mate Haka. It was so cool when all the Warriors fans joined in and as loud as they could, they chanted the Haka, which would have hyped up the Warriors for the first half.

The battle against Krisnan Inu and Steve Matai was crucial. They were both bumping off each other, trying to get them out of the play. Steve Matai took the first hit on Krisnan Inu, but then Krisnan Inu came back and and hit Steve Matai two times “Woohoo, Kiwis” i said.

With a penalty goal kicked by James Maloney, Brett Stewart scored with a beatiful inside ball from Daly Cherry Evans. Two more tries were scored for the rest of the first half. Warriors scored two unconverted tries and tried to bounce back, but they let away one more try.

At the end of the game, The Manly Warrington Sea Eagles won to be the best team in 2011. Next year Warrioirs, next year.

  1. Hey Crusader.....
This was really a cool game. It would of been even better if the warriors won sadly like you said they lost. But I think that after the massive haka by the maori people it hyped up the warriors. Only for the first half, slacking off in the second half. Good for manly but for 2012.....GO THE WARRIORS. Keep up the good work.
